Alexander Mills – 1918

Don Bailey keeps
an eye out for close-to-home ephemera and historical items like this page from an old Southern Textile Bulletin that frequently turn up for sale on the Internet.

A clipping headlined "Alexander Manufacturing Co." with a wide shot of the two-story mill. In the foreground are about 40 workmen, one Model-T Ford and a horse-drawn buckboard. The caption identifies the mill as in Forest City, N. C. and as being under construction.
