Horse ‘n’ Buggy

Picture contributor: Joan Harris

A one-seater buggy with a sunshade over the driver, in white shirt and tie, holding the reins as they sit still beside a brick wall of some building. Another man, on the ground, is standing beside the rig. He too is wearing a white shirt and tie. Both wear casual hats.

Close up of the two men.

Another Will Hames classic, of a simpler, slower time, when Cliffside was young. Can you identify either of these men, or the exact location?

Riding in buggies must have been fun, breathing the fresh air, without a care about speeding tickets, highway pileups, fuel prices or much of anything else.
