A Little Touch of Home

A street scene in Okinawa showing fronts of two adjacent 'cabarets.' One bears the name 'Cabaret Cliffside.'

Jim Ingram, who made a career in the U.S. Marine Corps, made this photo during his first tour of duty on the island of Okinawa, in 1959. He says, “These ‘clubs’ were a cut above most.” Well, with a name like that, we guess so.
