Needle Case

As endearing as an old Valentine, this promotion piece was designed sometime in the 1920s, we’d guess, and probably given out to customers of the mill and the Cliffside Mills store. It contained a needle threader, a packet of needles—and a commercial. This is a rare mention that the mill once made chambray material.

Ornate 1920's-style design, labeled 'The Home Needle Case,' shows drawings of a snowy winter scene, and a spring scene with a little girl amid lots of blossoms.
