The Senior Cliff Dwellers

Imogene Scruggs

MARGARET IMOGENE SCRUGGS “TOMMY” Motto: “not too serious, not too gay; but a true-blue girl in every way.” Favorite saying: “What’s that?” Glee Club (2, 3); Imogene’s heart is a well of goodness, happiness, loyalty, sincerity and frankness whose waters never cease to flow. She is a valuable friend to all. Her charming personality and lovable disposition will ever linger in the memory of her many friends.

RUTH ELLA SCRUGGS “Sister” Motto: “Faithfulness and sincerity first of all. Favorite saying: “”I’m sorry.” Commencement Marshall (3); Assistant Librarian (4) Ruby’s success as a student has not come to her as the result of a great display of brilliance, but is due to a more permanent quality – effort. Her life is one of sympathy, frankness, kindness and above all- love. Ruby loves so deeply that she often sacrifices he happiness fr others. Certainly to know her is to love her.
