The Senior Cliff Dwellers

Mary Elizabeth Crowe

MARY LIZABETH CROWE. “Lib”. Motto: “the way to have a friend is to be one.” Favorite saying: “For goodness sakes.”Pep Club (1, 2, 3, 4); Glee Club (1, 2). Why try to describe Mary when it is an impossibility to tell her true worth? To her dearest friends, she is an invaluable prize. As a student she is diligent and thorough; as a worker, unparalleled; as a friend, loyal and true. Always memories of this lovable, sincere girl will live in the hearts of ’38.

Mary ETHEL HARRIS. “Ethel” ‘Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.’ Favorite saying: “Believe it or not.” Purple Cloud (1, 2) Ethel is true-blue. Her quiet, gentle manners have won her many friends. She is one of those lovable, unselfish girls, always having a smile for everyone. She is a good student and true friend who will be missed in Cliffside High.
