Barnabus Peeler. “Barney” Literary Society ’34; Public Speaking ’35; {ep Club ’35; Asst. Purple Cloud Staff ’35, ’36; Junior Play ’36; Cheer leader ’37; Senior Play ’37.Motto: “Esse quam videri” Favorite saying: “I’ll say!” Although there isn’t much of Barney what there is, is on the best. He is a great favorite of his classmates, especially the girls. He is a fellow one can rely on, and as such, he has been intrusted with many difficult tasks which he handled with skill.
 

Melrose Robinson. “Ollie” Literary ’34; Glee Club ’34, ’35, ’36; Pep Club ’34, ’35; Sec. Class ’34; Basketball ’37;. Motto: “Give me true friends and music and life will be a pleasure.” Favorite saying: “Mercy Me!” Melrose can usually see the funny side of anything. She is capable and fun-loving, never worries about anything not even her work. Her sense of humor is so acute that she can laugh when the joke is on her as quickly as when it is on her next door neighbor. Her appealing personality has won for her many friends. A
