Remember Cliffside Old Gold and Black

Katie Lee Jolly
Katie Lee Jolly. “Katie”. Member Pep club ’37, Literary society ’34: manager Senior Play ’37; Motto: ‘Character is a diamond that scatches every stone.” Favorite saying: “Good Night!”; with quiet dependability and unassuming effort Katie responds to every call of faithfulness and duty. She has a host of friends.

Ophus Jolly. “Offie”. Basketball ’34, ’35,’’36. Motto: “To have friends, is to be a friend.” We find Ophus a true friend, one who understands the meaning of the word friendship. He is self-reliant and always quiet and reserved. He possesses such qualities that cause you to like him better as you learn him more and we consider him rich because of them.
Ophus Jolly
