The Cliff Echoes

Edith Kelly
Edith Kelly. “Deedy” Motto: “pretty is as pretty does.” Favorite saying: “Aw Fizzle!” Edith Kelly is one of the new members of the senior class. But she does her work with all seriousness and she is interested in the accomplishments of her work of the senior class. Edith is a very neat, quiet and self-reserved person, but she is also an exceptionally good conversationalist. Edith has been a faithful member of the Glee Club for three years, was cheer leader of the Basketball team during her junior year and is assistant Art Editor in the Senior annual staff. Her friends also recognize her as having a sweet and very striking personality.

George Matheny. “Red” Motto: “Ready, willing and able.”George’s shyness is covered up by his courtesy and dependability. He is always ready and willing to participate in anything in connection with benefiting his school or classroom. “Ready, willing and able” is a motto that he really lives up to. There’s no question about his progress outside C.H.S.
