Henry Edwards
Henry Edwards. “pek”. Motto: “labor, learn and live”.Favorite saying: “Reckon not.” Member of 4H club (1, 2) Public Speaking Club (3) County Treasurer of FFA (4) Mimeographic Mgr. (4) Sports Editor Annual (4) Mgr. Basketball Team (4). Henry Edwards is one of the most influential persons in the 11 grade. His unselfish personality has built for him the character that is admired by everyone. He is always willing to help in everything that comes his way, and in this position has gained many friends.

Mary Sue Guffey. “Bird” Motto: “Dare to be different.”Favorite saying: “”My Goodness.” Mary sue is one of the members of the 1940 Senior class who has held many offices during her four years in high school. During her Sophomore year, she was secretary of the class and she has held the office of Circulation manager and Feature Editor on the school paper staff. Mary sue was Vice-President of the Public Speaking Club, was one of the debators in 1938-39, and one of the Marshalls for Commencements. She has a particular humor characteristic about her that makes you remember her after you meet Mary Sue.
