Cliffside, June 8. — Rev. J. A. Howard, pastor of the City View Baptist church of Greenville, S. C., closed a successful revival at the Cliffside Baptist, church last week. The services were widely attended.
Gerard Davidson of the Cliffside School faculty will leave for Chapel Hill Tuesday to attend the summer school sessions.
The Henrietta chapter of the Woodman of the World presented “Sky High” a three act comedy in the Henrietta Elementary school auditorium Friday night. A second presentation of the play was Saturday night. Gerard Davidson of Cliffside was one of the characters in the play.
Mrs. G. O. Wall returned home recently from Reading, Pa, where she has been making her home for the past year. She will spend several weeks visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Blackwell here.
Lois Davidson, who has been a student at Limestone returned home recently for the summer months.
An air exhibition consisting of stunt and wing walking was held at the temporary airplane landing field near Cliffside Sunday afternoon.
