CLIFFSIDE CHURCH NEWS
Cliffside, Feb. 9.—Rev. J. A. Hunnicutt brought a wonderful message Sunday morning, using as his text I Sam. 28:11. [,] “Grasping Our Opportunities.”
This is a circle week in our church life and all members are urged to attend the meetings this week.
The Pearle Johnson Circle will meet Monday night with their chairman, Mrs. Charles Keeter.
The Alda Grayson Circle will meet Monday night with Mrs. J. M. Devinney.
The Emma Leachman met with Mrs. Green, Saturday night.
The Bertha Smith Circle will meet with Mrs. E. T. Combs, Thursday night.
The Y. W. A. will meet Monday night with Mrs. Robert Hawkins.
The Attie Bostic Circle will meet with Mrs. A. T. Robertson [Roberson], Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
The Margie Allen Circle will meet Friday night with Mrs. Loy Wortman.
The Mary Kelly Circle will meet Friday night with Miss Rachel Hill.
The Ruth Hurley Circle will meet Friday night with Mrs. Jennie Allison.
The Neale Young Circle will meet with Mrs. J. C. Scruggs, Thursday at 2 o’clock.
The B. T. U. band under the direction of Mr. Harry Ingram is bringing fine music each Sunday evening at the closing exercises of the B. T. U.
Mr. L. L. Morgan of Raleigh, brought a stirring message Sunday evening to a large congregation on “Open Doors.”
