Cliffside, Nov. 26— Miss. Lyndall Clayton delightfully entertained a number of her friends at a party Saturday night at her home. Everyone present reported a fine time.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dixon, of Forest City, were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Scruggs and family.
Miss Elise Crawford of Columbia, S. C., spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Crawford.
Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Guffey and children visited Mrs. Guffey’s parents, Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Blanton near Earl.
Miss Hazel Crawley spent Saturday night with her aunts, Misses Charity and Callie Crawley.
We are glad to note that Misses Ethyl Ingram, Virginia Biggerstaff, and Inez Biggerstaff are improving very much. Inez returned home but Miss Ingram and Virginia remained in the Rutherford hospital.
Miss Eula Bela Sizemore spent Saturday night with Miss Janie Campbell.
Miss Lula Sizemore was the Sunday dinner guest of Miss Geneva Scruggs.

Mr. J. Dobbins and Miss Rose Hill surprised their many friends Saturday by motoring to Gaffney and being married. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Hoyle Black. Everyone is wishing for them much happiness.
Mrs. Clyde Hardin and son Charles returned home Wednesday after spending several days with Miss Inez Biggerstaff.
