Cliffside, Jan. 20 —Miss Janie Campbell spent Saturday night with Miss Bunia White.

Miss Emma Sue Crowe spent the weekend with Miss Reba White of Gilkey.

Misses Virginia and Marie Dobbins spent the weekend with friends and relatives in Cliffside.

Much to the surprise of, Mrs. J .L. Sizemore, she was recipient of a birthday party Saturday night by the Mary Kelly Circle, and a birthday dinner Sunday by her friends and relatives; Those enjoying the occasion were: Mrs. Cora Padgett,

Mrs. John Padgett, Mrs. Gary Moore and daughter, Corene, Mrs. Loise [Louise] Hill and Mrs. Hollis Scruggs, Mr. and Mrs. J. E: Vess, and children Gladys, Annie Fay and Fannie Mary, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Vess of Marion, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Vess of Drayton, S. C., Misses Janie Campbell, Buna White, Charity and Callie Crawley, Mary Sue Keeter, Mr. W. H. Roberson and Mr. G. C.. Blanton of Cliffside.

Mrs. Odie Lancaster is spending the week with her son, Jessie, in Caroleen.

Mr. A. T. Moore has returned; to his home from the Shelby hospital.

Miss Helen Sizemore spent Saturday night with Miss Mary Sue Keeter.

Mrs. Shila {Sheila ??] Padgett is very ill at this writing.

Miss Sarah Rickard spoke to the evangelistic club Sunday morning. Her talk was greatly enjoyed. The club will have services at the Prison Camp on Sunday, Jan. 26.
