First Firehouse

And it may be the first firetruck, at least a new one, for the firemen seem awfully proud. These Roy Lee Harris photos were submitted by Todd Lavender.

Firetruck inside firehouse. Nine firemen in their white uniforms lined up beside truck.

Blowup of picture to emphasize faces of firemen.
Names: Sonny Greene, Clyde Jolley, Bud Mullinax, Jim Hill, Jack Silvers, ?, ?, ?, Gene Whitaker

These are the identifications we have so far. Try to replace the question marks with the names you know. And supply the date or year if you can.

And here’s another that could be titled “Battle Stations.”

Now firemen are in and around truck as if positioned to respond to a fire.
