Cliffside now making terry towels

Cliffside, Nov. 9—The revamping of a portion of the mill and installation of machinery and equipment for the manufacture of Terry towels which was started a few months ago is nearing completion. The large bleachery and filtering plant are the only units which are not completed, but are being rushed to a finish as fast as possible.
Terry towels are now a reality as one hundred of the new looms are weaving several dozen towels daily and an additional number will be started from time to time until the entire five hundred are in motion and turning out over fifteen hundred dozen towels per day.
The mill will be about evenly divided between Terry towels and ginghams, both staple and fancy.
Houses Being Painted
A number of the tenant houses are being repainted on the interior and new employees are moving in daily and are fast occupying the vacant houses.
