Christmas Spirit Invades Cliffside

Christmas Spirit invades Cliffside. Every resident in the community to receive gifts.A Christmas Tree of magnificent proportions. December 23. 1926.

Cliffside, Dec. 18—Cliffside is agog with the Christmas Spirit and everyone is looking forward to Christmas Eve night when all will participate in the crowning event of the season. Instead of the churches of the town having their usual treats and exercises as has been the custom heretofore, all have joined hands and will enjoy a Community Christmas Tree of magnificent proportions.

Every Child Remembered.

Each and every child between the ages of two and thirteen years will journey to this Christmas affair at the Cliffside School Auditorium to receive not only their bag of candy, fruits and nuts, but will be donees of toys as well, and of the more substantial things of life. Exercises of this nature are usually for children but you will find the grown-ups there too, for after all when we advance to the age that we cannot mingle and enjoy the seemingly lighter and more frolicsome things with the children, we are indeed old.

Grown-ups Not Forgotten.

Not only will the children between the ages of two and thirteen be treated, but every individual in Cliffside and community will be the recipients of gifts. Imagine a thing more enjoyable than an event of this kind, the building lending to the holiday decorations and the Christmas Carols filling the air and with all faces beaming. Can you wonder why we are looking forward to Christmas Eve with anticipation?
