Walter Hodge Haynes
Walter Hodge Haynes
1882-1957

Walter, RRH’s fifth child, was born in the large house built in Ferry in 1882. Attended Baird’s Military Academy in Charlotte. He married Elizabeth McFalls; they had three children.

Grover Cleveland Haynes

1884-1950

Grover, RRH’s sixth child, was born in the large house built in Ferry in 1882. Attended Baird’s Military Academy in Charlotte. He married Ina Fortune; they had three children.

Eula Mae Haynes Shull
Eula Mae Haynes Shull
1886-1955

Eula Mae was RRH’s seventh child and was born in the large house built in Ferry in 1882. Attended Presbyterian College (now Queens) in Charlotte, and later Meredith College in Raleigh. She married Dr. Joseph Rush Shull; they had three children.

Virginia Haynes Caldwell
Virginia Haynes Caldwell
1888-1970

Virginia, RRH’s eighth and last child, was born in Ferry. Attended Presbyterian College (now Queens) in Charlotte, and later Meredith College in Raleigh. She married Barron Caldwell; they had one child.
