Page title image: The Hames Studio

W. E. Hames

Will, in suit and tie, a straw boater and button shoes, sits for a portrait in his own studio.
Will Hames

Here’s the photographer in later years, probably around 1920. Will also worked in the mill, whether during or after his photography career, we don’t know.

Here Will wears work clothes and still sports his familiar moustache.

The small photo is taken from a 1930’s group photo of the Cliffside Mills slasher room crew.

Will Hames is buried at Stateline Baptist Church.
