Gentlemen’s Group – 1919

cgw080

There are no clues as to why these young men were photographed together. What could they have had in common? Recently promoted Company store employees, maybe? Or officers of one of Cliffside’s many men’s clubs? Sunday School teachers? New members of the town’s band? We’ll never know.

In front, from left, is Luther H. Campbell and Jerrel Wooten. In the back is Bud Harris and Palmer Harrill
