Two Die On Same Street

From the Forest City Courier, Mar. 6, 1930

Mr. Caldwell Sentelle died here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Tate on Highland Street Saturday night at the age of fifty one. The funeral was conducted from the home at two o’clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. D. H. Rhinehardt and then the body was interred in the local cemetery. Mr. Sentelle had been making his home here with Mr. and Mrs. Tate and had only been in Cliffside a few days.

Little five-year old Everett Bobo Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Johnson died Saturday at the home of his parents on Highland street, opposite the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Tate where Mr. Sentelle died the same day. After the Sentelle funeral was over Rev. D. H. Rhinehardt and friends went to the Johnson home for the funeral of the little boy whose passing with that of the man across the street had cast a gloom over this part of town.

After the funeral service burial service was here in the local cemetery.
