Duke Plant Modernization

Many of us wonder what’s happening over at the Duke site. Aside from the giant stack that now looms above the horizon, there’s little to be seen. We’ve received permission to display recent photos and other material to keep you informed. The “old” plant (Units 1 thru 4, nearest the river) were retired on Oct. 1, 2011. The new plant is Unit 6, in the foreground.
