We’ve returned to a spot just below McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home, and are looking south. This site was formerly 59 N. Main, where a number of smart and/or handsome people lived—Broadus Watkins, Jim Swing, Reno Bailey—although not at the same time. On the other side of the magnolia tree, there were once railroad tracks that ran out past the cemetery, then, beyond Academy Street, southeast toward Cleveland County.
