Side trip to the west side: A little north and west of the Mason’s Lodge, on what used to be 3rd Avenue West, this old wall and these steps remain. According to the expert memory of Sam Davis, these people lived on this site at one time or another: Carl Matheny, Shaw Biggerstaff, Herman Johnson, Sue (Mrs. John) Waters, Frank Aldridge and perhaps others. The railroad track was just to the left (next picture).
