Forest City Scenes

A busy weave room, closely-packed with looms and weavers at work.

We see tracks, siding, depot and dwelling in distance.

Farmers with mules at edge of tilled field. Beyond is corn patch and group of mill houses.

Forest City's first fire department and equipment (a primitive ladder truck).

Burnt Chimney Academy Class - 1900. Large group in front of academy building built in 1874.

Perhaps 125 workers (men, women and children) grouped outside mill for photo.
