The handwritten description identifies the group as “W. M. U. Circle #2, Rev. Chas. H. Stevens, Pastor; Mrs. Watkins, Chm.” Elsewhere on the photo is the label “Home Department of the Baptist S. S., Cliffside, N. C.” “Mrs. Watkins” is Ida (Mrs. R. B.) Watkins, the fourth lady from the right in the front row. The date is June 19, 1924. Rev. Stevens was pastor at Cliffside Baptist from 1923 to 1925. The handwriting is Mrs. Watkins'.
