Clemson Class Project 1935

A woven likeness of Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Each year in those days, the graduating seniors of Clemson's textile department were assigned to design and produce a unique cloth pattern. Paul Bridges of Cliffside designed this intricate, finely-woven portrait of FDR. Several copies of this 8" x 13" artifact still exist. This one belongs to Mary Edna Hamrick McCraw.
