Remember Jo Jo?
Back in the '40s The Charlotte Observer carried a little weather featurette, “Jo Jo Says.” Jo Jo was a monkey, dressed in human clothes, who brought you a daily poem and the abbreviated forecast.
After you scanned all the front page news, you'd probably turn to the second section and read Gus Travis' column.
