My hero passed through this world,
And taught me many things as his little girl,
His wealth of knowledge was like fine pearls,
That formed a beautiful necklace for his precious little girl.
Each pearl represents a memory
And each day of my life he's there with me,
My hero is in heaven to watch over me,
And one day in heaven I too will be.
My treasure each day that I had with him,
Makes each day a precious gem,
When my days are hard and long,
His love is there to make me strong.
His physical presents will always be missed,
I wish everyday for his gentle kiss,
His memory will carry me through year by year,
And deep in my heart I will feel no fear.
God places angels in our pathways each day,
But my biggest angel here could not stay,
On a scale of one to ten,
My papa is my biggest hero and my best friend!
