The text, photos and family tree information for the Sparks stories are taken from the book “Some of the Ancestors and Descendants of Robert Lee Sparks and Ebber Sloan Bostic,” compiled and written—over a period of eleven years—by the late Jimmy Louis Sparks, and privately published in 1999. The book is much more comprehensive than the selected portions appearing here. For example, the John Sparks descendents listing here shows only the branches of the tree that lead directly to the Robert Lee Sparks family. The book contains much more family information on Jimmy's children, nieces, nephews and their descendents. Also in the book (but not here) are trees, or partial trees, of the Bostic, Spake, Morningstar, McDaniel and McBrayer families.
