#lhs006 North Main Street

That's Gladys Harrill leaning on the cannon in front of the Scout Cabin. At left, a gaggle of kids are gossiping in front of 59 North Main. The date is not known; it's probably in the late 1940's. Either the Fred Swing or Byron Bailey family lived there at the time. The next house up is Dr. Moss's, then Barney Davidson's, then Barney's store. Whatever happened to that old cannon—or is it a mortar? Where did it come from?
