#285 Cold Snap in Cliffside #1
Frozen fishpond and fountain, looking north. This sequence of photos was made in the early 1930s. When the mill office was about to be razed in the '70s, Phillip White was poking around in the abandoned building. In a drawer, he found a number of old negatives in dusty Jack Rabbit envelopes. He had prints made from the entire stack, and among them were these four fishpond pictures.
