This is a southern view of Railroad Street, shooting from 3rd Avenue West (through the fence). There were five houses in the area shown on the right side of the street, and beyond them, in the distance, there was the ice plant. The houses were perched over the slope to the right of the roadway. The railroad ran parallel to the street on the left. Downhill from Railroad there was another street, Pine, running parallel to this one, whose houses backed up to the river.
