#PW002 Miss Logan's 4th Grade - Year unknown

On the discovery of this picture: “My husband and I bought a house in Spindale about a year ago from the estate of Ethel Harrill. We had not had an opportunity to clean out the storage space over the garage until recently. As we were going through the various things that had been left behind, my children came across a notebook with a picture of Cliffside School. I teach fourth grade at Cliffside and both of my kids attended Cliffside. They could not believe it was our school. Looking through the notebook we found several old photographs taken at the school of different activities and grades. We were excited about our find. I brought the photos to school to show Betty Ann Scruggs Graham who is my assistant. I knew she and Mr. White would know something about the people in the pictures...Between the two of them they put together the story of Ramona Padgett Harrill and Bobo Harrill, who were from Cliffside and were the original owners of our house. It was amazing to all of us that our house, in Spindale had a connection to our school in Cliffside.” — Angie Taub, January 2004
