“I don't recall his given name, just 'Bum.' He sold life insurance for 50 years in Cliffside. Those who knew him will agree he was quite a man. A man of God, a true gentleman, he personified integrity and loyalty. His character was unsurpassed. As we reflect back, Bum was one of those men we would want our sons to be like and our daughters to marry. He was always ready to serve his fellow man without limitations, and was a real pillar of the community. To all of his family, may I say you were indescribably blessed by his being.”
