Women at the pump

#147 Women at the Pump
From Ginny Anne Reid collection

Three young Cliffside women around a water pump. These hand pumps were shared by multiple families. Does the location look familiar to anyone?

From Jim Haynes: “I think this well was at Reservoir and North Main Street by the Methodist Parsonage. My brother Bob was born in the house next door at 56 North Main in 1927 (the place you and I know as the Shine Freeman house).” Lula Goode Humphries also remembers the pump being on Reservoir Street.
