This structure
seems to have had no formal name. It was always referred to as "the store
building," in lower case. At one time or another, the upstairs contained
a town hall, doctor's office, dentist's office and classrooms. On the first
floor was a drug store, bank, department store, towel outlet store, grocery
store and furniture store. Judging from the ladies' wardrobe and the dirt
street, we'd guess this picture was made prior to 1920.
