CHS 1947 Yearbook


By the late '40s they called it The Cliff-Dweller. This is the first 12th grade class to graduate. It was the year of Peggy Harris, Nelson Black, Betty Erskine, Geraldine Wall, Ben Humphries, et al. Get out your pom-poms.

We were familiar with the High School teams and yearbooks called the Cliffdwellers, Old Gold and Black, The Eagle and, in the 1920s, the Purple Cloud, but we didn't know about this school name until we laid eyes on The Cliff Climbers, the Cliffside High yearbook for 1941.

CHS 1939 Yearbook
